Tenses 1
Time words tell the reader which tense a sentence is in and take the particle 에 when they name a point in time.
Tenses — Present, past and future, and how the ending changes with time.
A time word normally comes near the start of the sentence: 저는 아침에 밥을 먹어요 (I eat in the morning). The tense of the ending must match the time word.
समय-शब्द प्रायः वाक्य के आरंभ के पास आता है: 저는 아침에 밥을 먹어요 (मैं सुबह भोजन करता हूँ)। अंत का काल समय-शब्द से मेल खाना चाहिए।
Add 에 to a specific time: 세 시에 (at three), 아침에 (in the morning), 월요일에 (on Monday). Words like 오늘, 내일 and 어제 often appear without 에.
निश्चित समय के साथ 에 जोड़ें: 세 시에 (तीन बजे), 아침에 (सुबह), 월요일에 (सोमवार को)। 오늘, 내일 और 어제 जैसे शब्द प्रायः बिना 에 के आते हैं।
오늘 (today), 내일 (tomorrow), 어제 (yesterday), 지금 (now), 다음 주 (next week), 지난달 (last month). 어제 영화를 봤어요 (I watched a film yesterday).
오늘 (आज), 내일 (आने वाला कल), 어제 (बीता कल), 지금 (अभी), 다음 주 (अगला सप्ताह), 지난달 (पिछला महीना)। 어제 영화를 봤어요 (मैंने कल फ़िल्म देखी)।
에 marks a time; 에서 marks a place where an action happens. 아침에서 is wrong. Write 아침에 (in the morning) and 학교에서 (at school) - different particles for different jobs.
에 समय बताता है; 에서 उस स्थान को जहाँ क्रिया होती है। 아침에서 गलत है। 아침에 (सुबह) और 학교에서 (विद्यालय में) लिखें - अलग कामों के लिए अलग कण।
The hour uses native Korean numbers (한 시, 두 시, 세 시) while the minute uses Sino-Korean numbers (삼십 분). Mixing them is a common slip.
घंटे के लिए मूल कोरियन संख्याएँ (한 시, 두 시, 세 시) और मिनट के लिए चीनी-कोरियन संख्याएँ (삼십 분) लगती हैं। इन्हें मिलाना सामान्य भूल है।
