TOPIK Preparation 2
The listening section scores choosing, not translating every word. Preview the options, catch the place, the number and the reason, and never stop for a word you missed.
TOPIK Preparation — TOPIK I and II format, scoring and strategy.
Before each audio plays, read the four options and guess the type of answer wanted: a place, a time, a number or a reason. When the voice starts you are then listening for one detail, not the whole sentence.
हर ऑडियो चलने से पहले चारों विकल्प पढ़ें और अनुमान लगाएँ कि किस प्रकार का उत्तर चाहिए: स्थान, समय, संख्या या कारण। जब आवाज़ शुरू होती है तब आप पूरा वाक्य नहीं, केवल एक विवरण सुन रहे होते हैं।
The section grows in difficulty: 단어와 그림 (word and picture) items first, then 장소 (place) and 숫자 (number), then 짧은 대화 (short dialogue), and finally 긴 담화 (long discourse) for the last ten. Bank the easy marks early.
यह भाग कठिनाई में बढ़ता है: पहले 단어 और 그림 (शब्द और चित्र) के प्रश्न, फिर 장소 (स्थान) और 숫자 (संख्या), उसके बाद 짧은 대화 (छोटा संवाद), और अंतिम दस के लिए 긴 담화 (लंबा भाषण)। आरंभ में आसान अंक जमा करें।
남자: 어디에 가세요? 여자: 도서관에 가요. 질문: 남자는 어디에 갑니까? Here you ignore every grammar ending and keep one word: 도서관 (library). That single noun is the answer.
남자: 어디에 가세요? 여자: 도서관에 가요. 질문: 남자는 어디에 갑니까? यहाँ आप हर व्याकरण अंत को छोड़कर एक शब्द याद रखते हैं: 도서관 (पुस्तकालय)। वही एक संज्ञा उत्तर है।
The audio does not pause for you; it moves to the next question whether or not you understood. Learners stay stuck on one item, miss the start of the next, and lose two marks instead of one.
ऑडियो आपके लिए नहीं रुकता; आप समझें या न समझें, वह अगले प्रश्न की ओर बढ़ जाता है। शिक्षार्थी एक प्रश्न पर अटके रहते हैं, अगले की शुरुआत चूक जाते हैं, और एक की जगह दो अंक खो देते हैं।
Most trap answers are numbers: 전화번호 (phone number), 시 (o'clock), 요일 (day of the week), 가격 (price). Jot the digits on the question paper immediately; numbers vanish from memory faster than words.
अनेक जाल-उत्तर संख्याएँ होती हैं: 전화번호 (फ़ोन नंबर), 시 (बजे), 요일 (सप्ताह का दिन), 가격 (कीमत)। अंकों को तुरंत प्रश्न-पत्र पर लिख लें; संख्याएँ शब्दों से अधिक तेज़ी से स्मृति से मिट जाती हैं।
Almost every listening item is one of five questions: 어디 (where), 무엇 (what), 왜 (why), 몇 (how many) or 중심 생각 (main idea). Name the question word in the first second and you already know what to hunt for.
लगभग हर सुनने वाला प्रश्न इन पाँच में से एक होता है: 어디 (कहाँ), 무엇 (क्या), 왜 (क्यों), 몇 (कितने) या 중심 생각 (मुख्य विचार)। पहले ही क्षण प्रश्नवाचक शब्द पहचान लें, तब आप जान जाते हैं कि क्या ढूँढ़ना है।
