TOPIK II gives 180 minutes for three sections: listening 60, writing 50 and reading 70. The score is 300 points and grades 3-6 start at 120, 150, 190 and 230. A fixed checkpoint per section protects the later, longer questions.

TOPIK II runs in one sitting: 듣기 60 minutes, 쓰기 50 minutes, 읽기 70 minutes, 180 minutes in total. The listening audio controls its own pace, so reading is the section where you truly manage the clock. Do not borrow reading time for writing.
टॉपिक द्वितीय एक ही बैठक में चलता है: 듣기 60 मिनट, 쓰기 50 मिनट, 읽기 70 मिनट, कुल 180 मिनट। श्रवण ऑडियो अपनी गति से चलता है, इसलिए घड़ी वास्तव में पठन में संभालनी होती है। लेखन के लिए पठन का समय न लें।
50 reading questions in 70 minutes is about 1.4 minutes each. Aim for question 20 by minute 25, question 35 by minute 45, and the last long passage by minute 60. Keep the final ten minutes for checking blanks and the answer sheet.
70 मिनट में 50 पठन प्रश्न यानी प्रति प्रश्न लगभग 1.4 मिनट। लक्ष्य रखें: 25वें मिनट तक प्रश्न 20, 45वें मिनट तक प्रश्न 35, और 60वें मिनट तक अंतिम लंबा पाठ। अंतिम दस मिनट खाली स्थान और उत्तर-पत्र जाँचने के लिए रखें।
At 10분 you should have finished questions 1-8, the short words and notices. At 35분 you should be near question 30. At 60분 you should reach the long passages 45-50. If you are behind, mark the hard item and move on; return only after the easy marks are safe.
10분 तक प्रश्न 1-8, यानी छोटे शब्द और सूचनाएँ, पूरे हो जाने चाहिए। 35분 तक प्रश्न 30 के पास होना चाहिए। 60분 तक लंबे पाठ 45-50 तक पहुँचना चाहिए। यदि पीछे हों, तो कठिन प्रश्न पर चिह्न लगाकर आगे बढ़ें; आसान अंक सुरक्षित होने के बाद ही लौटें।
Sit a full mock at the same start time as the real test, with a timer, an OMR sheet and no phone. Practise the switch from listening to writing and from writing to reading, because the costliest mistakes happen in the first two minutes of a new section.
असली परीक्षा के समय पर पूरा मॉक टेस्ट दें, टाइमर, ओएमआर पत्र और बिना फ़ोन के। श्रवण से लेखन और लेखन से पठन के बदलाव का अभ्यास करें, क्योंकि सबसे महँगी गलतियाँ नए भाग के पहले दो मिनट में होती हैं।
A single long passage can swallow ten minutes and leave no time for five easier items. The opposite error is leaving blanks because there is no negative marking. Never trade five sure marks for one uncertain mark.

Guess only after removing two options, then mark the answer at once and forget it. In reading, the paper is ordered from easy to hard, so a skipped item is best left for the end. Do not erase a reasoned guess unless you find clear evidence.

The total is 300 points: listening 100, writing 100 and reading 100. Grade 3 needs 120, grade 4 needs 150, grade 5 needs 190 and grade 6 needs 230; below 120 there is no TOPIK II grade. Listening and reading items are worth 2 points each, so a blank is a full 2-point loss.
